The Town of Jackson, Wyoming is seeking a dedicated, value-centered individual to serve in a senior level position on our Transit team to lead our transit service planning and outreach strategies and efforts for START through communications and marketing, evaluating existing transit routes and schedules, and researching and recommending new bus routes and methods for providing transit services which may include van pools, on-demand services or other methods. This individual is also responsible for researching, preparing and administering all transit related grants. Jackson is an active year-round resort community with a developed transportation program with outlined areas for enhancements through the approved Integrated Transportation Plan. Hiring Range $67,700 - $90,000 DOQ.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in transit planning, transportation, geography, marketing, communications, business or other related field of study and 3 years experience in transit planning, communications and marketing, grant writing, business or local government. Ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational, analytical, strategic and interpersonal skills.
