The role you’ll contribute:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for furthering the mission of AdventHealth by driving service line growth and improving brand preference. In this role, the individual also oversees internal communications and works with the regional Director of Communications on external communications as needed. The position works closely with other members of the regional marketing team to oversee work on web, media, digital communications, graphic design, social media and service line marketing while also handling day-to-day marketing operations for their facility. In addition, it is the responsibility of the Marketing Manager to manage community relations/partnerships to ensure AdventHealth is well represented in the community. Outstanding organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high stress are key characteristics for success in this position.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Work with hospital leadership to identify marketing priorities and develop and implement effective marketing and communication plans, including digital and social media tools, to grow volume and manage and improve the reputation of the organization.
Proactively investigate and resolve marketing and communications issues internal and external to the hospital.
Work closely with the Executive Team and physician customers to identify service line opportunities, and collaborate with service line leaders to promote services.
Positively represent organization at programs and functions to promote the hospital.
Assist with media relations through the regional communications team, including proactive activities such as preparation of news releases, feature articles and arranging interviews between hospital executives, staff, physicians, patients and the media; and reactive stories that include responding to media queries. Ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines for film/photograph requests on hospital premises.
Constantly assess situations that could potentially negatively impact the medical center and discuss these issues immediately with the Director of Marketing and facility CEO.
Stay abreast of current marketing and health care trends through attendance and participation in selected seminars and conferences.
Write letters, speeches, reports, etc. for the Chief Executive Officer as requested.
Be prepared for any potential crisis communication that may arise.
Ensure community relations initiatives are delivering maximum exposure for investment.
Review and evaluate the work of outside marketing/public relations agencies and graphic artists; serve as liaison between the hospital and these entities.

Bachelor’s Degree
5+ Years of Position-Related Experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Master’s degree
